I lift things up and put them down

Hello Everyone, Firstly, if you don't get the reference in the title, it's worth a Googling. I spent last week mostly lifting things. And putting them down, I guess. They kinda go hand in hand. It was my ability to do both, really, that made me popular. On Monday it was helping remove a tree with Dad and Chris. They are both skilled with a chainsaw, so I was what might be called "unskilled labour". I moved chunks of wood out of the client's backyard and into a truck and trailer. On Tuesday through Friday, I schlepped cases of beer for the brewery. We organized a craft beer advent calendar, which turned out to be really popular. They capped the total number of these things at 900, which meant that someone had to pack 900 boxes with 24 different beers. It also meant that those cases had to be moved to the packing area and away from said area. I don't want to give the impression that this was totally unskilled labour on my part - I have mad dolly skills now - but we'll say that I wasn't using a lot of specialized knowledge to pack these things floor to ceiling. Saturday was a refreshing change. I moved furniture. The friend who had sublet my apartment while I was away was moving to her new place and I was doubly popular as I could lift a lot of stuff and I have a vehicle to transport it. No word of a lie, it felt like a vacation. Sunday I was back at the beer schlepping. We got it done then, which was good. Monday, I took a nap. wesÂ

I don't really have photos of the tree or the beer, but I did recently buy some spare parts in case I ever buy another Prius.
And there's a photo of Arthur enjoying some Fall weather in Winchester.Â
